I agree, although I wonder how old some of these beats are
They first started working on this album together in like 2005, when Black Thought did a feature for The Mouse and the Mask that didnât get used on the album proper
The DOOM verse on âBelizeâ is obviously a holdover from these sessions, with Aqua Teen references in there. Which makes me wonder if a number of the beats are, as well
Doesnât detract from the album being excellent, I just wonder about the legacy of it
