I doubt it, because "cloud console" is still hardware, and I'm sure MS/Sony prefers you play the game from your own hardware that you paid for rather than they subsidizing the hardware anyhow

The only way around that is if a business model emerges where you pay for the hardware, but MS/Sony hosts it. I'm not really seeing that as, Stadia put down the gauntlet with 1080p being free
