# I just beat the Ninja Gaiden trilogy and they’re AMAZING

I’m having a tough time choosing between 1 and 3 as my favorite. I played the Japanese original for 3 since I wasn’t interested in all the crazy difficulty changes they made to the US version. 2 was good but I found all the environmental challenges a bit annoying after a while. Definitely not ashamed to say that with Ninja Gaiden 1 I started using save states at the infamous 6-2 and to get through the final bosses. Ninja Gaiden 2s levels were so annoying I used them starting at stage 3. Ninja Gaiden 3 was overall easy and didn’t need states. Great games overall
