= CSP Track on South Table Mountain =

Anyone know what this track is? It seems to have a significant heat map signature on Strava, but it's marked No Trespassing at the gate when I poked around. It's state patrol property which makes it hard for me to believe that
*that* many people are just hopping the fence to ride somelooking tarmac Maybe it was a sponsored event or race at one point?
Anyone know what gives?
