= Best and Most in demand Project Management Qualifications? =

I have some experience in Project Management and Project coordination more. This is in the IT field. So I plan on moving into this field as a Project Manager

There are so many qualifications now, Scrum, PMP, etc. What is the one that I should apply for and do? Any other tips? Thnx
There are so many qualifications now, Scrum, PMP, etc

These are certifications not qualifications so I am not sure which you are looking for. From a certification standpoint, the PMP is a globally recognized and sought after cert, others include the SAFe, PMI-ACP, along with a few in the Agile arena like the Scrum Master and Product owner. Keep in mind the Agile certs are not really project management certs, they are a different approach to handling projects

From a qualification standpoint, I think you need to have experienced some failure along with success. The ability to recognize risk and think ahead of it, plan for mitigation, ability to play politics, and more than anything else, you need to be able to say no

Depends a lot on what you want to do and what kind of organization you want to work for (other than generic “IT”)
PMP for traditional PM. CAPM if you don’t meet the qualifications for the cert yet

PMI-ACP for Agile PM. Or get a Scrum Master cert like PSM or CSM if you don’t meet the ACP qualifications

SAFe 5 for enterprise agile, but that’s in no way intended for new PMs
I was a project coordinator for two years, and have worked on other projects. Looking at the qualifications it seems like i would qualify? I am not sure

If I dont would CAPM help me get a junior project management role?
If I dont qualify for PMP, PSM, CSM or CAPM, it seems. Thnx for the info btw
