The world's best online MBA programs have been ranked again this year by QS Quacquarelli Symonds

QS Quacquarelli Symonds, the London-based company that specializes in analysis of global higher education, released its rankings of the world’s best online MBA programs today. Spain’s IE Business School claimed the top spot for the fourth year in a row, but programs at U.S. universities accounted for more than half of the top 57 programs

Interest in online MBAs continues to be strong, with many schools seeing increases in applications during the past year. Prospective students appear to be putting an even greater premium on programs that offer flexibility and convenience, particularly as the effects of the coronavirus pandemic persist

Commenting on the popularity of online MBAs, Nunzio Quacquarelli, CEO of QS Quacquarelli Symonds, said: “Online MBA programs across the world were increasingly reporting higher learner demand prior to the pandemic, and we anticipate that this rise in student interest will only increase in the current climate. As ever-more business schools seek to place their offerings in front of ever-more potential students, our results will continue to help prospective students differentiate between the myriad options now available to them, using independent data and a methodology carefully-crafted to capture the quality of the online learning experience.”
