# Need a new antivirus/firewall/anti malware app. Windows 7 compatible
Laptop running win7, and I wonât be upgrading to a newer system. Need a new app to replace Norton that wonât leave me with a ton of viruses (no McAffee) and just as or better than Norton. Costs too much to renew. Familiar with Malwarebytes, free version but that didnât have a firewall. I donât use a VPN. I do have a cellphone, but would not use an app for this purpose

I would like to suggest u certain AVs in decreasing order of preference
Free: Kaspersky, Wisevector Stopx, Comodo, Avast, Bitdefender
Paid: Kaspersky, F-Secure, GDATA, Comodo, ESET Smart Security with Cloud Sandbox
To understand how potent these are i would like u to watch YT videos of Eclypsee Tech and J ITech Solutions on them
